Day 4 – The Word That Never Fails

Reading: Isaiah 40:1–8; Psalm 119:89–93

Key Verse: Isaiah 40:8 — “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”

Everything in life changes. People, seasons, opportunities — all of it shifts. But the Word of God never expires. His Word doesn’t age; it abides.

R.C. Sproul said,

“God’s Word is eternal because it is part of Himself. His promise and His power are one.”

When you build your life on what never changes, you become unshakable. The storms may come, but they can’t undo a foundation laid on the Word.

Think of the Word as the only stable structure in a collapsing world. When everything else fades, the Word remains. Don’t build your identity on what’s temporary — build it on what’s eternal.

Meditation Questions:

1. What “temporary things” have you been standing on lately?
2. How can you anchor your emotions, plans, and dreams in God’s unchanging truth?

Reflection:
You are only as stable as what you stand on. If you stand on opinion, you’ll shift with culture. If you stand on the Word, you’ll stand when everything else falls.

Prayer Declaration:
“Father, Your Word endures forever. I build my life on what cannot be shaken. Let Your Word uphold me through every season.”
