DAY 3 — Wisdom Manages Time and Seasons

Reading: Ecclesiastes 3; Psalm 90

Wisdom Focus:

• Time Management
• Discernment
• Career Decisions

Key Verse: Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”

When God created the world, He didn’t only build systems—He built **rhythms**. Time was His idea. Seasons were His design. The sun, moon, and stars were placed for signs and timings. Wisdom teaches you not only what to do, but *when* to do it.

Many of us fail not because we made the wrong decision, but because we made the right one in the wrong season.

Time management is not “scheduling”—it is spiritual stewardship. You are responsible for the hours God gives you. Wisdom teaches you to:
  • prioritize your God-given assignments
  • protect your time from foolish engagements
  • say “no” when needed
  • understand when your plate is full

When it comes to career decisions, wisdom helps you discern between:
     - opportunity and distraction
     - pressure and purpose
     - promotion and burden

Wisdom will never lead you into burnout. Wisdom will never push you into something God didn’t call you to.

Meditation Questions

1. What season am I truly in—building, resting, healing, preparing?
2. Where has poor time stewardship created stress in my life?
3. Am I pursuing a career path or assignment that God didn’t give me?

Reflection

You don’t have time for everything, but you do have time for what God intended. Wisdom helps you align with that.
