Lesson 2: The Model Prayer Part 2

When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He began with one word that revolutionized humanity's relationship with God: "Father."

In first-century Jewish culture, no one addressed God with such intimate, personal language. God was Lord, King, Almighty—but not "Abba" (Papa/Daddy). Jesus changed everything with this single word, shifting prayer from religious distance to relational intimacy.
