Lesson 2 Part 2: The Priestly Garments
The garments of Israel’s high priest were more than ceremonial clothing. Every layer revealed something about God’s holiness, the priest’s calling, and the redemptive ministry of Jesus Christ.
In this lesson, Apostle Robert Barrett examines the priestly garments from the inside out—from the hidden linen garments to the golden plate engraved “Holy to the Lord.” Each garment points to a spiritual reality fulfilled in Christ: consecration, righteousness, continual prayer and praise, Spirit-led intercession, and a holy identity.
As New Testament priests, believers are clothed in Christ and called to carry people before God with both strength and love. The central question is not simply, “What are we wearing?” but “Are we functioning in what God has given us?”
