From Chaos to Order Series: Lesson 3 - God of Order

Now, we turn to the connection between God’s holiness and His role as a God of order. Creation is one of the clearest expressions of God’s order and structure, reflecting His holy nature.

As the Lexham Bible Dictionary explains, creation is the divine act of bringing the universe into existence with beauty and complexity. The Genesis creation accounts (Genesis 1:1–2:4a and Genesis 2:4b–25) reveal that God is not a God of chaos but a God who establishes boundaries, purpose, and harmony.

Today, we’ll explore how the creation story demonstrates God’s holiness through His orderly design. We’ll also reflect on how God’s order serves as a model for how we are called to live as His people.
